Rebroadcast an Unconfirmed Bitcoin Transaction

Quick overview

Paste your transaction ID (TXID) below and click Rebroadcast. We re-send your raw transaction to multiple Bitcoin nodes to improve propagation.

Enter a 64-character hexadecimal TXID (no spaces).

How to use

Step-by-step guide (expand/collapse)

1. Get the TXID

Open your wallet or exchange and copy the Transaction ID (TXID) — a 64-character hex string.

2. Paste the TXID

Paste the TXID into the field above. Use the Paste button for convenience.

3. Click Rebroadcast Now

We will attempt to announce the transaction to multiple public Bitcoin nodes. You will see a success or error message in the result box.

4. Verify

Check a mempool/block explorer (for example, mempool.space or blockstream.info) to confirm if the TX appears or its status changed.

Important safety notes

  • Never enter or share private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords.
  • We do not modify fees — rebroadcasting only re-announces the same raw transaction.
  • If your transaction used a very low fee, consider RBF or CPFP where supported by your wallet.

Troubleshooting

  • Invalid TXID: Ensure the TXID is exactly 64 hex characters (0-9, a-f).
  • No confirmation after rebroadcast: Rebroadcasting doesn't guarantee confirmation — miners choose which transactions to include.
  • Node/network error: Try again after a few minutes. If persistent, contact support with the TXID and error text.

What rebroadcasting can — and cannot — do

Rebroadcasting re-announces an existing Bitcoin transaction (TXID) to additional public nodes so it can propagate through the mempool more quickly. This often helps when your transaction wasn't seen by enough peers or a wallet failed to broadcast it correctly.

Important: rebroadcasting does not change the transaction fee or guarantee miner inclusion. If the network fee on the original transaction is too low, miners may still choose higher-fee transactions first. Use Replace-By-Fee (RBF) or Child-Pays-For-Parent (CPFP) if your wallet supports them and a faster confirmation is required.

When to use this tool: transaction is visible as unconfirmed in your wallet or on a block explorer, or your wallet reports a broadcast error; and you want to improve propagation across nodes.
